DAVEH: Dean.....I hope you are not feeling that I am pressuring you to leave TT.
Nothing can be further from the truth. I do not want you to leave, and as Blaine and
DavidM also said....neither do they. So why the sudden departure? Please reconsider.
BTW........I assume you consider us (Mormons on TT) to be the grave issue??? If
so, I'm sorry you feel that way......but IMHO, it is the nature of TT to accommodate
and encourage those of us with contrasting opinions and beliefs. Take away that
contrast, and what do you have.....a boring forum. It seems to me that you personally
thrive on such contrasting challenges while preaching on the street, Dean. Yet here
in TT you seem uncomfortably confined and now apparently want to escape. If I were
to meet you on the streets of SLC and engage you in a lively and continuing
discussion, would you choose to run from me....fearing I'm going to somehow affect
your relationship with Jesus? Somehow, I doubt it.......so, I am puzzled why you now
are so
reluctant to deal with Mormons in TT. (I am assuming it is your unwillingness to
remain in TT with me so steadfastly anchored here that is compelling you to
leave.....?) So Dean, I am pleading with you to reconsider your decision to leave.
