You have not shown Ruben to be a Bigot
You merely labeled him as such to get the focus on his person rather than deal directly with his assertions.
Assertions which you are unable to answer, in a logical manner.
This is standard FAIR (pun intended should be fare) for LDS
Attack the person use all manner of PERJORATIVE terms such as ANTI and divert attention from the facts.
Blaine - King of calling others, (should I quote you?) Bigot, Prejudiced, ANTI's, PRESUMPTUOUS and NOT RIGHT THINKING, rantings and ravings
Please show us how & why Ruben is a "BIGOT", don't keep calling those you disagree with NAMES
Pretty soon I am afraid you will start calling Ruben a nitwit and such.
And this from the master of ANTI personal attacks

This is the same basic question that I am waiting for an answer since at least December

Tell us in what way do I fit the pejorative labels you place on me

". . . it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it."
Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775, Second Virginia Convention

Blaine:  The keystone of the LDS religion is the Book of Mormon.  Ruben is ignoring this LDS belief when he states wearing garments is not found in the New Testament.  This is plainly a bigoted statement.  That is where the obscenity resides.  Ruben is not only flagging the underwear in the faces of LDS people, but his own bigoted belief that there can be no further revelation from God is being waved in their faces.  Ruben might be more effective if he would give up the theatrics and stick to one-on-one proselyting as do Mormon misssionaries.  Last year, Mormon missionaries converted  tens of thousands of converts by this method, compared to Rubens mighty force of .  .  .  how many?  Ruben, how many people did you get into your fold last year by all these dramatic maneuverings?  I dare say Ruben is an artist first, and a preacher second.  He should stick to Shakespherean drama--he would be in his element, then.

Salt Lake Mayor Considers New Rules For Main Street Plaza Behavior
Feb. 13, 2004
Salt Lake Mayor Rocky Anderson is considering possible new rules to govern behavior on the Main Street Plaza during the LDS General Conference in April. And now, both the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the street preachers who regularly protest at the Conference, have weighed in on the matter. Carole Mikita is on the story.
Last October, the street preachers were out in force and two Latter-day Saints were arrested. The preachers were waving garments held sacred by Latter-day Saints, some were so offended they went after the protestors. It is this heightened atmosphere that concerns church leaders and members.
Church attorney Von Keetch sent a letter to the city, stating that the First Amendment does not protect intentionally provocative speech, which creates a clear and present danger of violence. Four suggestions: separate preachers and conference goers, keep demonstrators in a confined area, restrict the noise level even more, and require permits for protests.
Likewise, the street preachers director sent a letter, which says until now, the city and police have stayed within the framework of the Constitution but if that changes, he writes in part:
"I seriously caution SLC to go no further with lies and rumors and governmental discrimination in favoring one religion over another, simply because their particular religion looses in the public forum. Loosing in the legal forum as well will only add to the loss." (Ron McRae)
City attorney Ed Rutan says, the plan will remain the same for this April with 'no standing zones' in the crosswalks and on the sidewalks.
Ed Rutan/ Attorney for Salt Lake CIty: "WE HAVE TO PROTECT PUBLIC SAFETY BUT WE ALSO HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL OBLIGATION NOT TO UNNECESSARILY BURDEN PEOPLE'S EXPECTATIONS OF THEIR FREE SPEECH RIGHTS."
It's that balance that's so hard to maintain, as for the noise, there is an ordinance on the books already.
