Hey Kevin,
Where do you get the time and patience to wade through
all this Mormon doctrine?

If Blaine and DaveH want to speak code to each other
good for them.

So far as that goes we also speak code because they
have no insight into the secret things of God and they
don't understand scripture.   God makes it a closed
book to some and reveals His mystery to others.

Here is Just One More example of Speaking in CODE TALK,
it must be you Gentile TTers in that great & Spacious building.
Much communication is transmitted coded into these conversations
at the expense of you gullible TTers Reread the post below, and
see if it has additional meaning now that you have the key.
"Many people who seek thrills, excitement, and riches have been
lured into the 'great and spacious building.' There they find
entrapment, defeat, tarnished treasures, and great sorrow.
"Learn the difference between eternal joy and worldly pleasure."
The New Era, June 1988, pages 4-6.

THE ROD OF IRON & Great & Spacious Building
1 Nephi 8:19-20 describes the rod of iron and a path to the
tree with fruit "Desirable above all other fruit" 1 Nephi 11:25;
1 Nephi 15:23-24 The rod of iron represents the word of God.
We find the word of God in the scriptures, the teachings of
latter-day prophets, and the promptings of the Holy Ghost.
The word of God helps us come unto Christ and helps keep
us on the path to eternal life.

Note: FYI Blaine the above is a good example of Mormon
heresy.  The Word of God in scripture is a person. It is not
the teaching of Joseph Smith and any spirit that would
promote his teaching is not the holy one.

1 Nephi 11:34-36; 1 Nephi 12:18 The great and spacious
building represented the vain imaginations and pride of the world.
1 Nephi 8:26 It is significant that the building "stood...in the air".
From this we note that the building did not have a solid foundation.
Pride can keep a person from receiving eternal life by enticing
them to build on a worldly foundation rather than an eternal one.
1 Nephi 8:26-28 Some people in the vision tasted of the fruit but
were ashamed because the people in the great and spacious
building mocked them. It takes strength, our own and that of
the Spirit as our companion, to withstand persecution.
