Kevin,
If I am off base on what I'm about to say, please
get me back on. But you need to cool it. When new people sign up to our little
e-community, they come because they see that this is also a site for the
discussion of science and philosophy. This is how I blundered into this. I
thought it was a forum broad enough and opened enough to maybe begin to work
through the things that divide us. It's not really like any of us here do not
believe the Bible! The way you and others have treated Lance's first
input is rude and unbecoming of Christians. You should be ashamed of yourself.
If you think these other disciplines have nothing to offer Christians, then say
it in a way that truly represents the heart of our Lord. First, however, maybe
it would be better to just be still and read what Lance brought to the
discussion. Whether we are right or wrong in what we believe, we can all
learn a great deal from it. When you identify yourself as a Christian,
you've named yourself with the name of our
Lord. You need to either change your name, or start acting like you believe it
has some meaning.
