Explain last sentence: "God Himself" "Theological statements operate with what we may call open concepts-concepts which, to be sure, must be closed on our side, for we have to formulate them as carefully and exactly as we can, but which on God's side are open to the infinite objectivity and inexhaustible reality of the divine Being." Help or confuse?? Lance

If I said that God can work a blessing or benefit in my life as I commit to an understanding of some (biblical) teaching, that good is accomplished by this God in my life as a result of this effort to know but  without regard to the correctness of my thinking  --  would that have anything to do with what you are saying?

Lance, did you answer this or am I just too far off to be taken seriously?

John
