David,

Asking G to show you where the word "Protestant" is defined in the TT is sort of like a Mormon asking you to show you where the word "Trinity" is defined in the NT. You believe in the Trinity although the word is not in the NT. Is it possible that the conecpt of protest is present in the NT also?

Perhaps this is what G meant. After all, wasn't Jesus a reformer and protester in the first century, and weren't his disciples fellow protesters? The reformation closely mirrors the founding of the church, the RCC mirroring the Pharisaical structure of the first centruy, and the "protestant" reformers mirroring the first century church. I also find it interesting that because Luther was speaking out against the religous structure of his day, they sought to kill him.

I think the NT is completely inept for defining the word "Protestant."
Do you disagree? Please give us the passage where the word "Protestant"
is defined in the NT.

Peace be with you.
