Hi Bill, Thank you for posting an update about this family. What a tragic situation! I can only imagine what this family is going through... They are very much in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated. Sherrie
Hey this is pretty cool, Izzy. I like. As far as the crash victims go, the little boy is out of intensive care. It turns out that his pelvis is not crushed, just really bad bruising from the straps of the car seat in the are of his pelvis, abdomen, and chest. He will be okay. He may be released today. The husband went up to Denver to be with his wife. She is very groggy, fading in and out. My wife said that she thinks that somehow the mother already new that her daughter was dead. they were all belted up, the kids in car seats. The impact of the wreck snapped the little girls neck; she died instantly. The dad is very angry, understandably so. When the victim's advocate called to tell him about the wreck, he asked repeatedly about his kids. The advocate told him several times that they were all with her at the hospital. He then contacted his family and drove ninety miles thinking that all would be well. When he got there, they pulled him into a room and told him his daughter was dead. They claimed they had to do this because there was no way of knowing what he might do if he were to find it out -- without the benefit of their advocacy, I guess . What a knockout punch. What a crushing blow! Please continue to pray over this: 1. The mother, Nicole, is going into surgery today to have pens placed in both her legs. 2. There is a possibility that she may have to have spinal surgery. If she does she will definitely lose feeling on one side, starting at her neck and working down (I do not know how far). At this point she is not paralyzed. Thank you, God. 3. There is a possibility that she could be able to be released from the hospital in about a week. She very much wants to be able to go to her daughter's funeral. She needs closure. If they have to do the spinal surgery this will not happen. 4. This is a Christian family. The dad and his younger brother are involved in the youth group at their church. Pray that they will be made strong and forgiving; that the father's anger will subside; that the devil will have no avenue upon which to drive them away from God's healing embrace. I wonder if when we get to the other side, we will be met by an angel assigned to answer all of our questions. We will begin with asking why all the sadness, tragedy, sorrows, disappointments, and unanswered prayers??? The angel will look at us and say, Dont you get it, even now? You were not SUPPOSED to be happy! You were in the veil of tears, the testing place, the valley of sorrows, on Earth. The Lord wanted to see how you would react to all those adverse situations. Now, lets go meet Him, so you can hear Him say, Well, done my good and faithful servant! And He will wipe away your tears forever. She now says that she thinks of it as her child is not in her past but is in her future! Laura Jer 29:10 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. As time goes on I think more & more of that Blessed day when I shall behold my saviour! But I also have some very special ones that I can not wait to see again. Those that have loved ones that have gone on before, have a very special promise. It is God who has given us all that we have and all that we are. He has put each and everyone, that we hold dear into our lives and into our hearts. The fellowship that we will have when we are reunited with them, will be ever so much sweeter than it ever was before! 1 Thess 4 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. We have the promise of God that we will see our loved ones again. That is something I look foward to! A promise from the God that loves us so much he has ALL our tears in a bottle PS 56:8, He did not miss a one. He understands our deepest feelings. In 1 Thess 4 I notice that God said those that are asleep IN Jesus He will bring WITH Him. Then it says those that are alive will be caught up to the clouds. An interesting thing here is that the scriptures says "TOGETHER WITH THEM" we will meet the lord in the air. God knows our frame and before we even meet him he will reunite us with our loved ones in the air! What a reunion it will be in the sky! GLORY! ROMANS 8 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. .... If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? .. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? .. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL Ofttimes the day seems long, Our trials hard to bear; Were tempted to complain, To murmur and despair. But Christ will soon appear To catch His bride away; All tears forever over, In Gods eternal day. Sometimes the sky looks dark With not a ray of light; Were tossed and driven on, No human help in sight. But theres one in heaven Who knows our deepest care; Let Jesus solve your problem Just go to Him in prayer. Lifes days will soon be oer, All storms forever past; Well cross the great divide To glory safe at last. Well share the joys of heavn, A harp, a home, a crown; The tempter will be banished, Well lay our burdens down. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus; Lifes trials will seem so small when we see Christ. One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ. MATTHEW 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
