Dear Beth,
Thanks so much for sending on Alex' death notice and funeral particulars.
I am slow going
right now, so many things going on I guess, though I'm sure not as much
as you have on
your plate. We spent a day going out to see about the camper. Most of
the things are fixed
and they are now working on some stains on the linoleum and then we can
pick it up. Laura is
flying to Orlando Fla tomorrow. Terri and family are already there, they
drove and it took them
52 hours, they left at 5 a.m. and must have driven right through. Laura
says that Terri sounds
tired on the phone.

I started walking again with one of my neighbors, they are big on the
steps over here, saying
that it takes 10,000 steps per day to be healthy. I'm sure that's one of
Mum's secrets and she
would have gotten more than that with all the walking she did. I phoned
her this morning and
she had heard from Sandra. She says that Sandra was all upset over
Beverley's girls, apparently
there is a bit fritz over Aunty Anne's stuff, the girls are telling her
Nanna said they could have
this and that. She got a table or something out of the garage and put it
on the porch for Suzy
but after 6 weeks got tired of looking at it and sent it to the Salvation
Army. Mum asked me
what I thought and I told her Anne should have made a written will and
left all of her paperwork
with Uncle Bob. That way it would have been fair and would have saved
all of this animosity
which was bound to happen. I guess they don't trust Peter. Julie had a
little girl and that's about
all the Broben family news Mum got out of Sandra.

Grady is housesitting for Lisa, she has workmen there putting in a new
air conditioning/heat system
and she is getting new windows also. It is hot in her house right now
though until they get it in.
Grady has been there for about 3 days now and I know they appreciate it.
Laura takes off for the
shops, claims she has to do some last minute shopping (in the air
conditioning) None of us can
handle the heat real well - I walk at 7:30 a.m. and will get up even
earlier if it gets much more
humid.

Hope all is well with the family. How is little Lucy growing, she must
be really cute now. Kaide
is doing all kinds of things and is now starting to put two words
together.

Will be in touch again soon,
Love Judy
