Chris: I can't find the posts but I did want to address a couple of the points you made. The first is Civil Disobedience. You totally misunderstood my reason for posting the story of the Christian woman without a headscarf who was beaten by militant muslims. My focus was not on her behavior, rather it was to contrast such oppressive legalism by some militant nutcases to the freedom we enjoy in the USA. For those who are so critical - Do you understand that without vigilence it would be easy for that kind of element to take over in any Western country, this one included?
The other thing was the blood. It is the pagan rite of drinking blood that God is against and in Acts young Christians were warned about this and meat markets where the meat is sacrificed to idols. Hosea 4:6 is not referring to herbs and food supplements; God's people had neglected to learn His ways and were walking according to their own thoughts which was not good and this is why they were killed for "lack of knowledge. When food supplements are used to bypass the curse they become an idol and this is what I am against. Anything that engenders fear in God's people because.....
