Judy:Here's a surprise: while reading & listening to both of the aforemention I've discovered that they favorably quote  TFTorrance, CBKruger and Michael Polanyi. Go figure!

Subject: [TruthTalk] Review of Hampton Keithley IV's Review

Jonathan:
I have had a chance to look over this Review and it is terrible.  This man has no more idea of what Henry Wright is about than you have understanding of what I am saying most of the time.

To begin with Mr. Keithley believes that God can sovereignly design sickness for spiritual growth and he is a dispensationalist.

This being the case, I hope he never ever goes to a doctor because that would make him a hypocrite, trying to get a doctor to get him free from God's blessing.  He says Henry contradicts himself often.  Not so. What he contradicts is Mr. Keithley's doctrine. Some of his other accusations are as follows:

Henry doesn't give the audience time to think
Henry's teaching could only have ill effects
Only authority behind Wright's teaching is the sincerity of his heart
Henry calls doctors incompetent
Henry has a shallow understanding of scripture
Henry argues from silence
Henry is proud
Henry's doctrines sound like secular ideology of the day
Henry teaches that without repentance there can be no healing

All the above list proves is that Mr. Keithley did not hear and if he did hear anything he did not understand. If he was really interested in thinking he could take notes or purchase tapes - then at least he would be a little better equipped to opine.
Henry Wright never denigrates the medical profession, he works with them and doctors are at his seminars frequently.
I have been to Pleasant Valley and have seen first hand how Henry conducts himself along with the team who work with him there.  He is a humble man who lays down his life for others, as do the ministry team and they get results. May the Lord forgive Mr. Keithley for speaking out publicly in such ignorance.
