Is your old NASV still holding together?  Your "full immersion" experience sounds a little like what I experienced last night.  I went with a friend to her Church where they have what they call "Soaking Prayer"  For me it was a quiet, pleasant, and peaceful time. I had never heard of such a thing but they do it every week at this Church.
