Halleluia, Jeff!  That’s funny; I just thought about the fact that we praise God when we are spared.  But do we think He has anything to do with it when we aren’t? Food for thought….Izzy

Pardon me for being in a sour mood about this, but I don't think its one bit funny.  Nor am I convinced that it is God's judgement on those of us that are in the storm track.  I'm sure that if your life and home, etc. was being threatened you would see things differently also.  Hmmm, California, earthquakes, forest fires, landslides, watch out Smitty, your turn is comming!  Nebraska? Good Lord, out of the frying pan and into the fire!

I have been thinking about this natural disaster issue for about a week and I have to agree with Terry. Maybe this is just God's way of  cleansing the environment.  I know that when I lived in Wyoming we saw Yellowstone burn, hundreds of acres of timber knocked down by high winds in the Bighorns. Then I look at the results of what this destruction has been and I see a renewed ecosystem. Much like Terry's comments about the coastal reefs.  God loves his creation, why wouldn't he do something to clean it up?  Mankind certainly screws this up!

The beautiful thing is while I stayed through Hurricane Frances (it was tougher than Terry saw, but I'm still here) I have no intention of staying in the trailer I call home if Ivan comes near the Bay. But the last two days have been very nice, I have tracked this storm carefully and as of this morning the projected path has changed and we are out of mess. NO EVACUATION this time!!  Yes all that can change, but being able to breathe a sigh of relief is wonderful!

We here in sunny Californai are praying for those of you "under judgment"   ---   Ivan and all.

It's starting to look like it will hit the west coast of Florida and right up the coastline onto the panhandle.   Time to visit family in Nebraska.   No family?    Fake it and move  !!

your prayful bud
