It is more than interesting to me that Jacob used deceit to gain the birthright from his father, that Abraham allowed at least two kings to sleep with his wife (didn't happen of course -- but it wasn't Abraham's fault), Paul oversaw the death of Stephen and was not called to accountablilty for that --- I could go on. God is not weak when it comes to judgment, but He is truly a gracious God.
