In reply to David's question,
CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT.  What is the context of Sha'ul's letter to Galatians? When looked at properely one can (should?) easily see that the issue Sha'ul is addressing is CIRCUMCISION!  What did the Jerusalem Council determine?
What we have here is the same legalistic Judaisers causing trouble, and Sha'ul saying that legalistic observance is worthless. Learn YHVH's Torah in and out of love for Him and His son Yeshua. Not out of ignorance.

Time and time again, I have observed the concept of "covenant" and
"keeping
commandments" confused in the dialogue.  What I mean by "confused" is
that
the distinction between covenant, a relational contract with Yahweh,
and
keeping Yahweh's teachings and commandments, is blurred.

Judy makes an excellent point here.  Clearly, Paul is pointing out two
covenants here, right?  I would like to see Suzy, Slade, Jeff, and
anyone
else address this point.  Do each of you recognize two covenants being
talked about by Paul?

Peace be with you.
