This brings up what I think is an important consideration to contemplate.  I personally believe that Jesus calls us to walk in love by assuming the best of another person whenever it is plausible to do so. One additional point --  one is not a loving person who has no regard for what he/she says to another person.  I Co 13:4-8 (?)  gives us several concepts that determine loving action among members of the body of Christ.    That is specifically what that chapter is dealing with..........not marriage accord but accord between brethren.    I am sure I violte some of that advice  --  David ignores it almost everytime he writes me.   I am much to old to be told what is when it ain't !!  Can we read between the lines when we have someone's speech resting right there in our hands?   Oooooohh , you betcha.   My wife does so often and accurately.   David means to be a prophet of God, a John the Baptist type.   That is where his head is.    But he has made himself very much my opponent on this forum and I doubt that anyone here except maybe you,  is unaware of that fact.   Can we be brethren in spite of that?   Paul and Peter were.   Paul and Barabas were.   And David and I can be as well.   In fact, that apparently is the case  -- accusations of blasphemy included.  John I am trying to deal with spiritual principles; not personalities. What if thinking evil of another brings evil upon you? Is that possible? Izzy
