suggest that there are two (David and Linda) who do not seem to be able to 'read the heart' of a writer. This, if true, may be a partial contributing factor informing the acrimonious exchanges between them and SOME ON SOME OCCASIONS on TT.
I think you are right on track here, Lance. I readily read between the lines of Izzy's posts and people like Terry, but I have a great deal of difficulty doing so with Gary, you, Bill Taylor, and John Smithson. Jonathan usually writes enough that there isn't a whole lot of need to make assumptions about what might be meant. I have to admit, however, that I have trouble reading between the lines of Judy's posts. Overall, I am not a good person at reading between the lines and seeing the heart of the writer. Sometimes I wonder if that might be a good thing, because maybe I would not be able to assume the best of them if I saw their intent. :-) Even when I can't understand a post, I try to assume the best as I give up trying to understand what they are trying to say. I agree that my inability to read between the lines has contributed to misunderstandings on this forum.
Peace be with you.
David Miller.
