1. The Outsiders....I've seen this movie the most number of times of any movie I've seen. Comes from my childhood...loved S. E. Hinton as she was 15 when she wrote the book, a school drop out, and a success. The Outsiders is about the "tuffness" of growing up and being on different sides of the town and "crowds". Shows how these very different people have hearts of their own. Very touching to see "tuff" guys care for others...even to death. Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, and Ralph Macchio (yep...a year before The Karate Kid) are all in this flick.
2. The Shawshank Redemption...great story about hope and redemption for a convicted criminal. I just love Morgan Freeman, too. 3. The Green Mile...story about a wrongfully convicted man on death row and a relationship he developed with one of the guards. He happens to have the Gift of Healing, which caused him to be convicted due to being in the right place at the right time, but it being taken the wrong way. ---------- "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man."
