My ex-wife also believed that rules were more important than relationships.
The Lord taught me many years ago that relationship is much more important than being right. Rules exist for the purpose of strengthening and bettering relationship. I hold relationship as much more important than rules, and this is clearly established by my not having an ex-wife.
