i've seen your holy water
vanish with the ark
caught upon the tree your flesh and bone
i've seen your body vanish
then, your body miss the mark
then your mystery, your majesty, and throne--
your mystery and majesty unknown

Christ ??

yes--his body vanished... 'caught up' is the language of 1 Thess 4: 17 which is the language of 2 Cor 12:2 and 4 which is (or is not)  the language of dispensationalists who flippantly translate 'caught up' as '(the) rapture'..the shards of this poem were sitting here (on d: drive:) for a few years before reading Weber's book, which enlightens a plodding potter...p. 23

Dylan ??

no (he'll have to borrow this one from me:)

p.s. apologies for th double postg--not sure how that first horse got outa the barn
