I discovered a footnote in the text alluded to above: It reads'The words which issue from our mouths are inadequate presentations of both of the foregoing. Text critics discovered an extremely rare confirmation of this in 'Codex Davidicus' where it says 'Like language is a blunt instrument, man' (paraphrastic rendering of course)
