harder..than your own.' I'd have said easier. When speaking of 'your own' I
refer not to the flawed attempt at introspection but, to the potential of
'seeing one's self as seen' in relationships where we are truly known. Even in a
medium as detached as this one we occasionally come to know something of
another. Just yesterday 'G' provided privileged access and, for that I thank
him. Such 'access' will inform future communication. Linda has done this through
some of her 'life stories'.

Like
you, I think the "kiss" was an act of betrayal but I [have no
Scriptural proof to] believe it was used to force Messiah into becoming
the Conqueror. I also agree that Judas experienced the greatest of
remorse.
Trips into the psyche of another individual is
perhaps harder than investigating your own.
Judas was and still is a very honorable name
within Judaism. He was named after Judas Maccabee who, of course, was a player
in the Chanukah story.

Do you think the "kiss" was one of betrayal or an effort
on his part to force the Messiah to be what scripture presented Him to
be -- something that backfired.
Or,
does Judas, for a time, see Jesus as a fraud --- but only
for a brief period of time.
I think it is possible, after
reading the Matt 26,27 account just now, that Judas sought to repent, and,
perhaps in returning the money, there may have been a fleeting moment where
Judas thought he might undo the deed by returning the money.
When he saw this was not the case, his remorse got the best of him and
he commited suicide -- an indication of just how serious
he thought his mistake to be -- perhaps he came to
believe tht he had brought down the Jewish Messiah ?? !!
