Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] The Right Way To Get To The Truth   Judy, along with Linda and David reject neither community nor Bill's understanding of the relational. Each 'lives it' to the glory of God. Each even 'speaks it' from time to time. It's just that they have this way of detaching 'truths' (whatever they are) from the One Who Is The Truth. God is gracious and He understands. He cuts them some slack on this and, so do I. Sadly, when I 'read' them doing it, it is like the fingers on the blackboard thing but I look past it at their lives. God bless y'all.    Lance, What makes you think any of us “reject community”?  Perhaps some of us partake of more “community” than you do? Perhaps some of us just don’t worship a god named “Community” to the exclusion of the real Jesus Christ, who is composed of both Mercy (chesed) and Judgment (gevura)? Perhaps some of us understand the yin and yang of creation? Balance? That God is both loving and holy? That He requires the same of us? Yes, He “cut us some slack” on the Cross, and some of us understand the enormity of that.  We come before Him in both reverence and awe.  We realize that, unless we do, we just might not “live it to the glory of God”, but live mean little selfish, temper-tantrum lives. One cannot “detach truth” from the One Who is Truth.  They are inseparable.  One can only live a false “truth”.  God does not “understand” sin—that is why He was Gracious on the Cross.  It cost Him something. And it costs us something to be worthy of it. It costs “Self”. God bless us all, indeed. Izzy
