Maybe the theroy of everthing is bound up in the concerpt of "community" as it appears in its many forms? !!
If we are searching for an answer to TOE in formulations and equations, in philosphical profundity (man I like that word !!!) or in God through Christ ---- maybe we search in vain.
If "community" is the image of God ("Let us (community perhaps) make mankind in our image) whether expressed in a marriage, a government, a nation, a people of God, a mathmatical discipline, a science project or whatever, we would expect to it to produce that which is good and even effective --- because community is the mirror of the Creator's manifest essence.
jt: Community is NOT the image of God. Jesus is the express image of the Father and He is not "community" He is one, so is God.
Let us make MANKIND (male and female created He them)
Image = community (relationships, associations, one scientific observation after another until we get it right, marriage, governments, forums, counsel, armies, navies, partnership with God.)

Even if I am wrong on this, Shirely you see how I could arrive at my conclusion. Your theological rebuttal, "No it is not" does little to manifest a good reason from me to change my mind.

I know this is a much bigger deal for me that most of the rest of this list. But it is facinating to me.
I put a single log on a hot bed of coals, this evening. The fire went out !!!! Or, would have done so. But I saw what was happening and added another log -- a second log. Community was established and the fire was restored within minutes.
So, did you get my point or not? One log on the fire is death to our sourse of heat in this house. Two logs or more (community) is life, warmth and comfort.
