Judy, help me out. Earlier today you SEEMED to speak ill of 'wrangling' over words (their meaning I suppose) yet, you just offered a 'word clarification' here? You also asked what I meant by 'tools'. I believe I'm safe in assuming that you did not do this from memory so, what 'tool(s)' did you employ?
I'm going to chalk this misapprehension up to myself but, I can't help but wonder....jhmmmmmmmm?

 the word used in Judges 16:28 is "avenge" which may be synonomous with revenge but there is a distinction in use ie:
Avenge = To take satisfaction for an injury or punishment by punishing the injuring party, to vindicate by inflicting pain or evil on wrongdoer.
Revenge = Inflicting pain or evil maliciously in an illegal manner.
