No, Izzy. You an are friends, and I didn't see rocks in your hands.

Here's my problem...
We have English translations of Hebrew/Greek manuscripts. We call this God's Word.

We take the Webster's dictionary and seek to discover meanings as regulated by the Webster Company's whim.
Should we not go back to the Hebrew/Greek and discover the meanings of these words instead? We have multiple words of Hebrew that are translated into multiple English words an these words overlap and this can cause confusion.

There are shepherds who use this confusion for their benefit. You know some as well, Izzy.

Subject: RE: [TruthTalk] The Right Way To Get To The Truth

Thanks for the input, Slade. I have nothing against learning from the Brethren who are gifted in teaching.  I just don’t believe in setting a man’s teaching above the obvious meaning of scripture.  This avoids the twisting of meanings that are so common in cults and off-base sects.  I hope it didn’t feel like I was throwing “stones”.  Izzy
