Evening, Slade. I have about eight or nine on my desk in the shop. They are free to anyone who wants one. I have a friend who has relatives in Gainesville. When he goes to visit, I get him to bring me a few more from time to time, as they are much cheaper there than here. I tried to buy some from the Gideons, but they have some sort of rule against that. At the prison where I taught a Bible class until a different chaplain took over the program, the Gideons give a Bible to every new inmate to arrive. Some of them threw them in the garbage can outside the chapel, and I used to fish them out and give them away. That is the only way I ever got any free ones, but I don't mind spending what I have to in order to put God's word in a prospective saints hands. I don't give away any other books, with the exception of Daily Bread booklets, put out by RBC. Tell those people you know to come on by and help themselves. We will talk Jesus. Terry |
