another way of looking at it is: separate the
acts of carnality (Adamah, Heb. Earth) from the acts of the Spirit
(Mayim, Heb. water). However, as the Land was created as a mixture
of soil and water, we were created both with diverse allegiances (spirit and
flesh), inseparable until an act of God creates
change.
The Act of God has happened Slade - it's called the
New Birth which makes us part of the New Creation in Christ (2 Cor 5:17)
after which we must walk in the Spirit if we are not to fulfill the lusts
of the flesh - For what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? and what concord
hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an
infidel?
