Jt:Who/what is a 'theologian'? Is anyone on TT excluded from your understanding of this? Perhaps when we hear from you on this, it can be put to rest once and for all..

The only reason that I even pursued this in the least is because it addresses so succinctly the hypocrisy of your continued putdowns of Christian theologians. You continually, incessantly attack any scholar mentioned by us on TT. Any time another theologian is mentioned you add his name to an ever-growing list of men whom you view as ungodly:

jt: I don't recall every calling them "ungodly" or evaluating their characters in any way Bill. When did I do this?

For example, on 12/22 you wrote, "Understanding God's Word does not come by way of Polyani, Newbegin, C. Baxter Kruger, J.B. Torrance, or Lance," and then on 12-24 you added a couple more names to the list: "How very sad that we can not allow the scriptures to speak and the Holy Spirit to give us understanding without incessantly wading through what Augustine, MacArthur, Polyani, Barth, Baxter Kruger, and Torrance et al think about it giving their words more deference than the Word of God."

jt: Do you interpret the above as calling all of these people "ungodly?"  I think you miss my point. Will have to find a better way to communicate.

This goes on over and over and over again, as everyone on TT well knows. You write these nasty things, Judy, but at the same time you will cover up the fact that you too are benefiting from the scholarship of Christian theologians. What makes Dake any more authoritative than any of the rest of these guys? Why is it okay for you to benefit from his insight, when it is so upsetting to you if others benefit from the insight of other theologians?

jt: To begin with my intent is not nastiness Bill and Dake is not a theologian. He worked for many years on an annotated Bible which includes a lot of lists, some of them I like, others I disagree with... Also Finis Dake was a spirit filled man which I believe gives one more insight into certain truths. It is not Dake who is authoritative it is the Word of God.

What upsets me much more than the fact that you plagiarized -- something we have probably all done at one time or another -- is the hypocrisy, the deceit, the dishonesty of it all. I hope, Judy, that you will stop insulting us with your ad hominem attacks against these distinguished brothers in Christ; it is beneath you to do that.

jt: You like to rub it in don't you Bill.. in spite of the fact that I have dealt with it already.  I'm sure glad God is not like that.  judyt

Sincerely,

Bill
OK Bill,

You have made your point; I am sorry for this and I will in future give honor where honor is due.
PS: Do you spend any time considering whether or not these issues are true Bill or is the most
important thing who says what?

Jesus was not ONLY a son. He was also our Prophet, Priest, and now King.
Why pidgeonhole Him into an eternal son?

Thanks, Judy. Now that you have made this public, may I point out that you got more than just "scriptural references" from Dake?

I am sorry it came to this. I will not again assume that you will read between the lines.

Your brother,

Bill
