For some, 'patristric' is a swear word and, as to such you'd best just 'walk around them' and address such as welcome this 'relational balance' you seek. Bill, ya otta right a book.

John: Actually, it is not alienation that is the problem so much as judgmentalism from those who cannot afford to be objective. 

Judy: IMO Bill is right and 'alienation' IS the problem John.  Love always rejoices with the truth and "this Patristic _expression_" leaves a lot to be desired. Are you aware that you judge the ones you accuse of judgmentalism above?
