Slade I'm not interested in anything you have to say until you deal with Gary - To me this is more like a lynching than the wisdom of God working through a godly brother... Note: The only thing different that happened to me in May/June 2004 was  my 4yr old grandaughter being diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and at the time I was blessed by prayer and support from those on TT.  I suggest you may need to examine your own thin skin along with your feathers.    judyt

Why do I single you out? I will be honest. Your posts are the catalyst that create antagonism and division. Others react against the way you come across. I'm fully expecting to get ripped on this one by David Miller and Izzy and you, but that's my opinion... that's why I used exact terms and not "it seems that..." or "it sounds like...." This is how I understand it to be. Izzy can and probably will say [with just as much forthrightness] that it's Gary, or Jon, or John, or Bill, or Lance, or slade, or Jeff that causes strife and division[1].

You get under my feathers once in a while as well and I do what I can to shake it (with Abba's help, of course) because the way you come across is that we're all idiots and G-d has put you on this forum to straighten us all out. You may have the same opinion of me. Are you the only one who gets under my skin? No. Even my wife shows up there once in a while.

Remember when Smithson and I were having a moment? That has passed because we worked to create friendship at pretty much the same time. I've tried that with you in many different ways (and no, I am not going to go back through the archives to find it because I'm too lazy right now) and it failed. Now, I do two things with your posts: (1) ignore them. (2) post in such a way that you can do what you appear to want to do... teach.

I do not want to be hated and nor do I want to hate. Especially with someone who claims to be a brother or sister. While you think the post below is tame, it is simply a friendly reminder that some of us hear a tendency toward communicative cruelty. You asked for an archive search. I don't want to do that. Instead, I figured I would wait until it showed up again. I am intending to be friendly and not mean.

[1] you know, I need to reevaluate something. In May/June 2004, your posts were not entirely vindictive in tone. I think I need to figure out what happened.

No Slade, that's fine.
IMO this is tame compared to some of the stuff coming from Gary's computer which has been ongoing for months
now. That the KJV is written on a 10th grade level is true and this I don't mind being equated with.  But I'm curious as to why I am singled out over this - Did you read what I responded to and not find it hateful and insulting or is the focus
primarily on me?  jht

myth (any post you produce from the archives, subject to assessment by any reader willing, puts your words in the best light possible, inductively; if not true, then set forth your doctrine as it is--e.g., what is your hermeneutic? so far, the archival pic is of a cultic ideology influential over peasant, perhaps ~8th grade expertise)

You wanted an example of hatful speech. Here's an example. Shall I continue to do this or shall I shut up?

8th Grade?  No Gary the KJV is written at the 10th Grade level of course your hero Vernon Grounds
is probably way above that  and probably anything not Conservative Baptist is cultish so far as you're
concerned.  Sorry....
