Sarcastic lawyer? I'm not that smart, nor am I sarcastic. You are reading
way too much into my question. I believe in the Torah and in keeping the
Torah. Different people keep it in different ways, and I am trying to
understand her brand of Messianic Torah observance. She had already thought
it odd that I ask her why she did not keep the sacrifices that the Torah
expects. Then in answering this question, she indicated that she did not
sleep in a booth built in the way that Torah says, because of her children,
but that she did build a booth like Torah tells us to do. I have probably
20 more questions that I would love to follow up with (such as, why not
build the booth with walls, or build a suitable crib or kid area), but I
find the Messianics on the list so touchy concerning questions about Torah
observance that I have decided to keep my questions to myself. It is a real
shame that we cannot love each other enough to ask sincere questions about
how we each keep the Torah. I have a very sincere interest in Messianic
methods of Torah observance. I even took time to try and meet with Kay and
Slade in person, and I hope to spend more time with them in the future.
Unfortunately, the distrust and suspicion of one another is sad. It hinders
relationship. I like how Izzy keeps repeating that we need to give others
the benefit of the doubt and think the best of the intentions of others
rather than engaging in evil surmisings.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
