I enjoy God's Word - and learning the fear of the Lord is profitable all around: The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life Prov 14:27 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom Prov 9:10 The fear of the Lord will prolong your days Prov 10:27 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil Prov 8:13 (so one can speak as the oracles of God)  A good starting point.   But don't leave out "mature love casts out fear."   J   John, are you saying that you think a “mature” Believer does not fear God in the Biblical sense? I believe that we all either walk in the fear of God OR in the fear of Man.  The former leads to righteousness; the latter leads to sin.  How do you see it?
