MYTH... Can't imagine why you would want to carry around such a load G. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit to lead us
into ALL truth and the New Covenant promise is clear (see Jer 31:33, Heb 10:16, 2 Cor 3:3). Each of us are
responsible for ourselves plus anyone else we can help so who is more accurate in giving understanding than the one who inspired and wrote the Words to begin with?

myth [(there's no way to be sure what 'accuracy' means..ftr, interpretation is the outcome of theological evaluation/s of bib history relative to personal, social/historical, and Spiritual factors both unique and common to the interpreter/s...by definiton, interpretation  is also a positive communal task not a person's private endeavor to defend against certain others subjectively..e.g, on both an objective and subjective platform there are four sanctioned gospels abt JC because there are both unique and common observers of him who reportd his acts in both unique and common words to form the scriptural Word...keep in mind that the four gospel writers were workg from the observations of unnamed reporters, too, such as JCs Mom, probably both documentarily (maybe her letters) and orally (probably her conversation/s..)]

jt: We also need to keep in mind that things are written about Jesus in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms" (Luke 24:45) - Amazing!! and after saying this Jesus opened his disciples understanding so that they could understand the scriptures.  It just doesn't fall on those with education and long titles after their names, at times He reveals things to babes..

.. I am a bit of a stickler for accuracy when dealing with God's Word.
