Gary has offered to moderate the list and I have decided to accept his offer.
Gary was one of the founding members of this list. We had three moderators when we created this list, and Gary was one of the three founding moderators. Although some are concerned about his ability to communicate because of the abbreviations he uses in his posts, I think we can work through that. I suspect Gary will try to moderate primarily through gentle direction that is meant to facilitate dialogue, but if he does find it necessary to reprimand anyone for violating the no ad hominem rule, please respect his judgments and comply without further public discussion. If you feel there are any injustices or need for moderation that is not taking place, please feel free to write Gary and me off the list and bring it to our attention. Peace be with you.
