Hi Marlin!! Long time no see! You were on TT when I got off over a year ago. You bring up when Jesus was born--Tishri 1. There is a fly in the soup with Tishri 1, which is the assumption that Zacharias only filled the Priest's duty once a year. Actually he did it twice a year. This argues for EITHER Tishri 1, or sometime in the early Spring--probably the Passover. The symbolism all fits much better for that time of the year, when lambs are born. Glad to see you back.
