Bill, I am American (what’s Genevan???).  And again I assert that we are not lost until we Sin.  He died for all, but not all receive it.  Remember the parable of “many are called but few are chosen”?  The ones who receive it are the chosen IMO.  I keep hoping that sooner or later you might take the narrow road. Yes, I think it means every human being. They are not lost until they refuse such great a salvation. It is what made it possible to live not for yourself but for him who died and rose again on your behalf. In other words, you are alive; live for him.     If he died only for believers, you are talking now about a limited atonement.

 

Anyway that's how I see it. But we've been down this road before.
