strongly disagree, John.  I have been a disciple.  I have  discipled others.  I have taken part in prison ministries.  I have banged on doors, presented the Gospel and handed out tracts.  I have even filled the pulpit from time to time.  I try to gently lead a home church today.

I have never had the guts to be a street preacher.  They are a special breed.

Different strokes for different folks on the courage thing in this regard.   But what I was really talking about is the work that goes into the ministry itself.   If one struggles with being effective as a discipler  --  that is much more involved than grabbing a bullhorn and standing on a street corner.
