You characterization of "preaching" being "screaming" makes it difficult to
respond, but let me just say that I have always found street preaching much
more difficult to do than discipling others.  In discipling others, I am
received and appreciated.  It is a joy to teach God's Word to those who eat
it up and love it and appreciate it.  Preaching, on the other hand, puts one
in a very uncomfortable place.  There are many unknown hazards, from police
problems to verbal and physical abuse.  Nobody likes rejection and it takes
an enormous amount of grace from God to do this thing.

Speaking as a pastor, having to deal with the politics of the churched,  ministering to those who are babes and full of excuses  (" I will pray about it, preacher, and get back to you'), trying to bring the congregate from one place to another   --   is a much more involved job that you might suppose.   The pastor is more often than not  --   if he is doing his job  -  not preaching to the choir.   Your speak of the struggle against the world   -   I am speaking of the struggle with the unspiritual-carnal-babe-but-saved-in-the-church.
