If you look back up in verse 2, you see the gospel being preached to the Israelites, and he calls this, "the word preached." Now here in verse 12, he takes it up again. When we preach God's word (Kevin knows what I'm talking about) it is alive and powerful and cuts even to the dividing of soul and spirit.
