Truth is really used in at least two differing ways:

Surely you are not saying there are two different Truths, as in New Age type theology?

What then is "Truth used in different ways"? and what is the basis for this new doctrine?

You sound like Pontius Pilate.  Jesus tells us we can know the truth—He IS the Truth.  If we know Him (really), we know all the Truth that matters.  I agree that seeking doctrinal agreement is not the path—it is one of the consequences of being on the path to life.  (As I Cor 8:1-3 states) To assume that you and your cohorts are the only ones seeking ever-deeper relationship with Jesus (and truth) seems to lack humility. (Did I phrase that gently enough?)  Izzy

If you read without so much assumption, you and I would be much closer together.
