JD writes: More often than not, the heart is one thing and the actions are another.

jt: Out of the abundance that fills the heart the mouth speaks - and actions follow.  Read Judges Chapters 13 to 16 Samson was mainly
about the ministry of liberating Israel from oppression to the Philistines.

We can judge many of Samson's action because they have been written down.    We know if visiting a whore is wrong.

jt: It's not good to visit a whore, neither is it good to divorce a wife. Both happen because of the hardness of men's hearts and every man will
stand or fall before his Maker.

We know if pride and conceit and anger and revenge are wrong.

jt: You don't know that Samson was guilty of  these JD, also avenge and revenge are not the same, a point that you apparently choose to ignore.
Jesus says it is "he who is without sin" who should cast the first stone. Can you qualify to stone Samson for what you perceive to be his
failings.

The fact that God can use all things to actually accomplish good is a story that is told and retold in scritpure  ------------------   it is a story that continues to this day.

jt: All things work together for good in the lives of those who are called according to His purpose but God can not lie nor can He gloss over or cover sin.  Sin never accomplishes good, it always brings death, destruction, and curses in every generation.

Christ makes us right, presents to the Father that circumstance through which the Father views our lives.   And God sees us as already righteous in spite of our falling from glory.  JD

jt: That may be the denominational story but there is not a thing wrong with God's eyesight - He sees us just the way we are... and if any man is in Christ He is part of a New Creation where old things have passed away and all things have become new.  This is literal - not figurative.

But who are we to point the finger at him since God has obviously accepted him?  Only God sees the heart and Samson
apparently passed the test.  judyt
