We fail to see a difference between "inspiration" and "revelation" when the two are not the same at all.    Quite often, the two exist side by side.   On other occasions, however, the two are very differently expressed.

John, it might help if you looked at it another way.  God's word contains the instructions that Satan gave to Eve.  God reported to us  what happened on that occasion so that we might understand. Satan's words were not holy and his actions were not approved by God, but they are there in God's word, for our benefit.
