Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] Terri Schiavo

This Terri Shiavo case is still heavy on me.  There is a lot of spiritual

battle in the heavenlies over this situation.  Please keep praying.  Lord

willing, I will be back at the Hospice tonight (about 80 miles from here).

There are a lot of Catholics there and some of them make it difficult.  The

"woman in charge" has forbidden me from preaching there.  She wants everyone

to dress in black and be mournful and melancholy.  I guess she has no hope.

I obliged her on Tuesday but I'm not sure I will oblige her tonight.  I'm

praying about it.  Is there not a cause?

Peace be with you.

David Miller.

David, here is a response that Erin, wanted to write to you about Terri:

Hi this is Erin.  I think what you are doing is great.  If I were down there I would try as hard as I could to bring Terri water.  I would do whatever I could to make someone notice or care!  I heard on the news they said it was a painless death but I know that’s not true.  I can’t remember why but once I went without water for one day.  By the time I got home my mouth hurt so bad and I had to get a drink!  That was one day! One day!  Imagine how Terri is feeling right now!  It must be terrible!  To me it sounds like one of those cases where someone tried to kill someone and then was trying to cover it up.  Another thing, how can they let her die when she could be fed soft food!  I mean it seems like murder to me!  If so how can we let murder take place right under our noses!  What bothers me even more is that anyone could let something like this happen!  How can we have such disregard for life!  I’m only 13 but I can tell the difference between right and wrong, just and injust, and I know this is not just and it is not right!!!
