I had some trouble with your arguments from silence of Scripture about 
Elijah, but putting all that aside, I am very curious who you have in mind 
when you refer to "some people" in the above quote.  Is there anybody on 
this forum who you perceive to be ignoring a holistic viewpoint of the 
narrative revelation?
