I'm not complaining JD, just pointing out an obvious disconnect in what you profess.  Young ppl need to know
what Joshua told Israel - We have an obligation to set before them life and death and tell them that they need
to "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve"

On the TT List you appear (to me at least) to be completely taken with what you call the "larger context" and the
"Christ event".  I am wondering how you preach this and what the fruit of it would be in the lives of the young ppl
you may influence from your role in leadership because to me it does not sound much different from what I was
taught early on in the Methodist Church ie that the death of Christ was a historical event that was supposed to
benefit me in some way.  No Holy Spirit conviction there at all, just religious dead works.   jt

Just responding to your response JD.  The personal turn is on your end - you are the one who began the focus on  "your preaching" in response to my comment about your "larger context theology" so where am I supposed to go from there since I never have and probably never will sit under your preaching other than on the TT list.  judyt
