May I ask of you, Judith, what is it that Caroline, Gary, Debbie,Bill, JD and, I write that maketh you so angry. I'm hard pressed to remember: 'great point', 'well said' and, such synonymous expressions issuing from thyself toward some/all of the above named. Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

This is a true statement, John, but I'm not sure you understand it.  I think
we all have agreed previously that the one who is perfect in love does not sin.

David  -- I most certainly do understand the passage.   I stopped reading after two sentences,  David.
The first sentence reveals a continuing need to exhalt yourself at the expence of others.
The second sentence show that you have little grasp on reality.  Have a good evening.  JD

JD, I'd like to point to the above to show once more how you allow the "accuser" to use you.
Accusation is never from God, it is always the voice of the enemy (that's what he does day
and night before the throne of God); I am not putting you in his camp - you do that yourself
by your choice of words; I'm just trying to make you aware of it (in love).  Also why does
what David wrote above make you angry?  He is qoting 1 John 4:18 and 1 John 3:9
so what's wrong with that?

You and I were disagreeing over whether perfect love casts out ALL fear which would
include the "fear of God"  You claim that it does.  I say No.  Would just like for you
to consider the following:

"I will give them one heart, and one way that they may fear me forever, for the good
of them, and of their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them
that I will not turn away from them to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts
that they shall not depart from me" (Jer 32:38-40)

"And unto man he said, Behold the fear of the Lord that is wisdom; and to depart from evil
is understanding." (Job 28:28)

"What man is he that feareth the Lord? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose;
the secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant"
(Psalm 25:12,14)

"Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee"
(Psalm 31:19)

"For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear Him"
(Psalm 103:11)

"The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him and delivereth them"
(Psalm 34:7)

"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings"
(Malachi 4:2)
