I have no interest in manipulating a discussion. I was stating what I believed was an agreed upon premise and moving on from there. I'm not going to dig up the posts to prove it to you because it is unnecessary. Let's just re-examine this premise. I thought we had agreed already, but apparently we had not. Statements had been made that all the law is fulfilled in the concept of love. If we love our neighbor, we do not steal from them, do not covet what they have, do not murder them, do not commit adultery with their spouse, etc. If we love God, we honor him and honor his name and keep his sabbath holy, etc. In other words, all the law is contained in the concept of love, and so if one is made perfect in love he fulfills the righteousness of the law. Another way of saying this is that he does not sin. Where do we disagree upon this? I thought you believed that love fulfills the law. Peace be with you.
