Very good article, Dave H., with an excellent point.  However, I think it is wrong to place ALL the blame on pastors (although they DO set the tone for what goes on in a church.)  Where are the Prophets, where are the Evangelists, where are the other members of the Body?  They are missing from the church, and so the pastor is expected to do it all, even though he probably only has the gift of administration or some such thing. The church is trying to drive along with 3 flat tires.
