Dressing appropriate is to wear underwear with special protective powers?
What Bible verse teaches such?
Did the priests in the OT wear such under garments, with special markings on them?
There is a lot of instruction about the Temple and the priests in the OT so should be easy to find.

DAVEH:   Thanx for your explanation, Ruben.  I ask because I am curious.

I am surprised that you would find the underwear I wear to be obnoxious, as if you would even be aware of it if you weren't so bent on denigrating Mormonism.  After all, we are not flaunting it before the public.  (And I am not trying to say that in an offensive way, but rather to describe your intent.)   You apparently would want us to wear the same as everybody else, and you have less respect for something we find holy.  If you attend a formal church service, Ruben...do you dress in appropriate clothing as do many Christians?  It is one thing to go to a ball game dressed in casual (perhaps t-shirts or sports jerseys) attire, but many Christians offer a measure of respect by dressing more appropriately when gathering in the Lord's name.   Do you castigate them for their reverence of dress, as you do our belief in dressing appropriately for the Lord?

DAVEH:   Ruben, did I understand you correctly to say that you are the
guy who holds up the Jn 3:16 sign at most of the televised sporting
events?  If so, I'm curious....do any of the folks behind you complain
about their view being blocked by the sign?

Yes I am one of the guys, there are about five of us.  Regarding the sign some might complain do but the seats behind the end zone are not the best, you cannot see much of the game.  Others help hold the sign.  But its about as much as people complaining when someone knocks on their door to witness religion, why do you ask? Yes one other when brother David did and since then others have tried.

DAVEH:  So....Have any SPers (other than DavidM) attempted to offer to smoke the peace pipe with him?

Yes one other when David Miller tried and since then others have attempted.

DAVEH:  Waving underwear in an attempt to belittle seems obnoxious to me.

No DH, what is obnoxious is wearing them, trusting in him as a rabbit foot or supposing the apostles wore them..talk about revolting.  I only wave hem, they wear them.  Dont take it personal Dave.take it as a group.
