There is variation among the CofC concerning this, but the one I attended 
has a sign out front that said, "Christians meet here."
That church had a name. Clark Avenue church of Christ or Exeter chruch of Christ.   If not, it was not 
mainstream non-instrument  c of c.

Again, some variation among them, but the purests do not have any central 
headquarters where they send funds.  Each congregation is autonomous and 
they CLAIM not to be a denomination, even though many of us familiar with 
them recognize that they really are despite their claims to the contrary.
The principles of the Campbell/Stone Movement are quite different fromt the realities it spawned.
You might be interested in the publication, Restoration Quuarterly.  It is intellectually challenging 
and non-sectarian.   The principles of the movement arte what I respect  --  I have little respect
for what the movement has become.
